  1. A/R sorted by oldest balance first
  2. A/R sorted by largest balance first
  3. Outstanding Insurance Aging
  4. Adjustment report for last week
  5. Month-to-Date collections
  6. Month-to-Date production for each provider (doctors and hygienists)
  7. Referral sources for all new exams during last week
  8. Referral sources for all new exams during last 12 months (who are the top referrers?)

These are the "generic" reports we recommend for all offices, irrespective of the PMS (practice management software) they use. If you would like to see the reports we use specifically for Dentrix, click here. (You need MS Word to open this file)

 

Ideally, the doctor(s) and office manager should meet for 5 minutes each week to quickly discuss all the reports above. The Hawthorne Effect predicts that just running and looking at these reports each week will make the numbers improve …and they do
